Warranty in writing
Published terms here range from one year to lifetime. Three companies, Avanté included, publish no term on their sites. Ask for it before the work starts, not after.
Who does the work
Sole-proprietor shops like Avanté and Roman's send the owner; larger firms dispatch technicians. Neither is wrong, but the person who quoted it being the person who does it is worth asking about.
After-hours reality

It is a useful trust signal and a useful fact source, but it is not a licence and not a review count. Is a 24/7 plumber worth paying more for?
Only if the emergency cannot wait until 7am. Curoso, KC Home Services, Elite and Benjamin Franklin advertise 24/7 phones or availability; after-hours calls usually carry a premium, and a burst supply line is handled by shutting the main valve until morning. Avanté runs seven days a week from 7am to 7pm and does not claim 24/7. If you have a true overnight flood, call one of the 24/7 companies and shut the water off while you wait.
Flat rate or hourly: which is better for the customer?
Flat rate is easier to compare before the work starts; hourly is usually cheaper on small, quick jobs and can run higher on jobs that fight back. Elite Plumbing bills flat rate with no trip charge. Roman's and Avanté bill hourly, with Avanté at $175 per hour and a $45 diagnostic that is credited to the job.
