What this website is for
The pages here describe the plumbing services we offer, the areas we cover, and work we have done. They exist so you can decide whether to call us. They are not an offer to perform work at a particular price or on a particular date.
Is anything here plumbing advice?
No. Articles and service pages on this site are general information written for a wide audience. Your building, its age, its water pressure and its previous repairs all change the right answer. Nothing on this site should be treated as a diagnosis, and you should not rely on it in place of having a licensed plumber look at the actual problem.
Plumbing work carries real risk of water damage, scalding, gas leaks and injury. If you attempt work yourself based on something you read here, you do so at your own risk. If you smell gas or have water you cannot shut off, stop and call us at (707) 231-0790 or call 911.
Quotes, estimates and prices
Any figure given over the phone, by email or on this website is an approximation based on what you have described. It is not a contract. A binding price is one we put in writing after seeing the job, and it may change if we open a wall and find something nobody could have known about — in which case we tell you before continuing, not after.
Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless they say otherwise. Parts pricing and availability move, and we reserve the right to correct obvious errors in a quote.
Booking, cancellations and access
Submitting the form on our contact page is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Work is scheduled once we have spoken and agreed a time. Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule, and make sure someone can give us access to the property and to the shutoff — jobs we cannot start because we cannot get in may be charged as a call-out.
Our posted hours are Mon – Sun, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. We do our best to respond quickly to urgent calls, but we do not guarantee a response time.
Licensing and insurance
Karl D'Angelo Plumbing holds California CSLB licence #841938 (C-36 Plumbing), bonded at $25,000 and insured. Our licence covers plumbing. We do not perform HVAC or solar thermal work and do not hold licences for them.
You can verify our licence, and information about contractors’ bonds and complaint procedures, with the California Contractors State License Board at cslb.ca.gov or (800) 321-CSLB.
Warranty
Workmanship and parts warranties are set out on the invoice or contract for your specific job, and manufacturer warranties on fixtures and equipment are whatever the manufacturer offers. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, freezing, ground movement, work altered by someone else, or pre-existing conditions we identified and you chose not to address.
Photos, reviews and content
The text, photographs, logos and design on this site belong to Avanté Plumbing or are used with permission, and may not be copied or republished without our written consent. Project photographs show our own completed work. Reviews shown on our reviews page are real reviews left by customers on Google and other platforms; they describe those customers’ jobs and are not a promise of the same result on yours.
Links to other sites
Where we link to a manufacturer, a licensing body or another third party, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.
Limits on our liability
This website is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and to the fullest extent the law allows we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on information published on it.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for the plumbing work we actually perform, or excludes any liability that California law does not permit us to exclude — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute that cannot be worked out between us belongs in the state or federal courts serving Sonoma County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms as the business changes. The current version always lives on this page with its date at the top; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
